Personal Disclaimer: I’m not a perfectionist when it comes to QC-ing; for me close enough is often good enough. But CCW is welcome!
I’m going to start out by saying that this was an impulse buy. While I was lusting after the mini CF in this color that was part of this year’s collection, I was still hemming and hawing about the practicality and hadn’t even tried to find out if a rep of the mini version was available. Then I happened to be browsing Tina’s album one Friday morning before work, spotted this little cutie, and got a bad case of heart eyes. I got lured in by pics of something pretty and shiny, pure and simple.
Quality: 10/10
This bag just feels so good. The hardware has a nice weight to it and the lambskin is supple, but with a slight bit of hardiness from the iridescent treatment. The bag overall has a very substantial and luxurious feel. No issues with stitching or the leather fed thought the chain of the strap. The turn lock and zipper both glide like a hot knife through butter. And it smells of nothing but leather.
Accuracy: 9.5/10
I’ve never seen the auth in person, so I can’t compare the weight and feel of the bag, but based on photos alone, I’d say it’s pretty darn accurate as far as quilting, pocket placement, leather/hardware colors, and logo stamping/engraving are concerned.
The overall bag shape matches the auth and is constant from top to bottom. The shape of the flap is extremely close to the auth; it hits all the right places at the edges and interior of the curve, but the apex of the curve above the CC logo is very slightly less pronounced than the auth (I would guess no more than 1-2mm.) It’s not even something I would notice just by looking at the bag itself.
All of the measurements match those listed in the fashionphile link with the exception of the shoulder drop. The rep is a little longer at 10.5 inches and 18 inches, so I deducted 0.5.
At first, I thought the iridescent flash on the auth was pinker, while the rep was greener, but I think that might be dependent on the lighting and what color(s) are in the background of the photo. In my dark kitchen it flashes green, but outside in the sun it was very pink. The lighting in the room where I took the photos was showing both pink and green depending on the angle.
The interior is the correct color with the correct color stitching on the CC logo

This bag is absolutely stunning and I’m having no regrets what so ever about my spur of the moment purchase. I thought the iridescence might be a little too fancy for casual use, but when I tried it on with the jeans and t-shirt I wore to work from home today, it was perfectly fine. And since we’re just at the beginning of summer, I’ll have plenty of time to wear it out over the next few months before it has to go into hibernation for the winter.

Tina was so quick to respond and very nice. I first messaged her in both English and Mandarin (using Google Translate), when she responded in English I continued to do so. I also really liked that she used an AliExpress link for payment; it just made things so simple to pay and track the package all in one place.

I have the reissue from a different factory and I love it. The leather feels so buttery. I compared the shape, size and chain weight to my reissue and everything is the same. ⏤ by aalicja
